PA Commends the National Net Zero Authority

Professionals Australia joins the ACTU in welcoming the Federal Government's announcement of a new National Net Zero Authority

This announcement is a commitment to the future of thousands of science, engineering and energy jobs across Australia. 

The new Authority will ensure workers in emissions-intensive industries impacted on the road to net zero will be fully supported with individualised worker transition plans to ensure they experience a fair transition with access to quality, secure and safe jobs in new industries.

PA members have been an integral part of the campaign for job security in transforming the energy sector. 

We congratulate union members from across Australia and commend the Albanese Government on their commitment to secure jobs and a more secure, cleaner, and more prosperous future for all.
